Who was your favorite teach at Berkeley High School and why?  I had two, Mrs. Bonner and Mrs. Wofford.  Both gave me good backgrounds in English and Biology that served me well at the college level.

I agree with your choices of Mrs. Bonner and Mrs. Wofford, but I also think about Mrs. Chinners and how she fostered our critical thinking skills (though I didn't think about it or appreciate it so much at the time).  The person I remember and respected the most was Mr. Bradley.  I can't begin to tell you how many times I was faced with critical decisions in my career and I would ask myself "what would Mr. Bradley do in this situation?"  He was my role model, and I got to share that with him when he was hospitalized before he finally passed away.                Harvey

Mr. Bradley would be on my list too, although I was scared to death of him.  You knew who was boss at BHS back in the day!

I would be very interested in a 55th reunion as long as it is any time other than the 1st weekend in June.  I have an yearly commitment every year on that date.  That is why I missed the 50th.

Joyce, I'm probably responding on the wrong page, but I'm a dinosaur on the computer or iPhone. I think any opportunity for a get together is a good idea. Fall sounds good. We might want to think about getting together in mid-afternoon so we can visit before supper. Can't get much more low country than bar-b-que! Hope you & yours are all well.   Gray

Had a nice chat with Paul Browder on his birthday!  He is in an assisted living facility near his children in New Jersey.  He has been declared cancer-free, but will always be dependent on a walker. (Many of us understand that!). He was very upbeat, and wanted me to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers!
